That 70's Show
Today’s look is what I wore to Thanksgiving! This sweater dress was a hit at my boyfriend’s family dinner. It was loose enough so I had enough room to eat as much as I wanted without feeling like I was going to rip open my dress, but also form fitting enough where I didn’t look like a potato sack. I love the 70's vibe of the colorful striped pattern and kept the vintage look with a pair of thigh high brown boots.
This sweater dress was originally over $100 at Free People but I snagged it from Macy’s at a major discount for $39 online. Unfortunately it's sold out on the Macy's website, but typically if you want something from Free People, always check department stores first! They have a lot of Free People products but usually for additional discounts or huge sale prices.
At this point, I think you guys can tell from my blog that I love sweater dresses... (worn here, here, & here). They are perfect for me because 99% of the time I am a lazy piece of shit and just want something to throw on. At the same time, they keep me warmer than a normal dress would while also making me look all ~wintery~. Hehe. I have to say the only downside to my look is that the boots take a little while to get on. I have pretty small calves and I still struggled pulling these shoes on! But once I did, they were totally worth it because of the slimming and elongating effect they give.
