Now that New York Fashion Week is winding down to an end, here is a take away of some of my favorite looks and collections from NYFW.
This STUNNING collection was prized by bloggers everywhere at NYFW, and hands down my favorite at NYFW. I was gawking at absolutely every single outfit in this show. Zimmermann had beautiful, ethereal, and pastel toned dresses everywhere. Almost all of the outfits in the collection were paired with knee high boots which juxtaposed the feminine vibes uniquely - very wedding meets Scottish kilt meets badass combat girl. Overall this show was just so amazing and all of the color palettes were on point as well!
The Misha Collection was a very eclectic mix of beautiful lace, to slinky glittery slip dresses. However, Misha Collection did have a couple looks (not pictured here) that were a bit questionable - such as leopard print corsets and bright red jumpsuits. Not really my cup of tea, plus it didn't really flow together as one collective lookbook.
However, when Misha Collection created something right, they made it look GOOOOOD. The first lace long sleeve dress I have featured in the slideshow below... I need it on my body. NOW. I was obsessed with the beautiful fabrics they decided to use in the looks below, as well as the bondage ish look of the first dress. Very Victorian sweet while also being sexy.
Oh man, oh man. Only Bella Hadid could look that good in a hoodie! I was blown away by this DKNY show. The silhouettes they decided to use were so original, and all of the looks were very minimalistic while being extraordinarily fresh. This collection was made for badass women. It was perfect for the rising streetwear trend we are currently seeing being popularized by badass chicks such as badgalriri. This collection was very different than the first two I featured above but still so good!
